#Policy—they’re
Saying "CSA" and "paedophile" in a post got me (temporarily) banned from Facebook, the platform whose official internal policy is that child traffickers get 17 strikes before they're out
Elites have been doing sex crimes while forcing the rest of us to say "grape" and "unalive" to avoid having our posts taken down

Not being able to accurately describe abuse makes people (especially children) vulnerable to it
Every major website/company now: Yeah if we find out you post or look at a boob we will freeze all your accounts without warning
The CEO of every major website/company over Gmail: Oh Jeffrey you are simply a hoot. Lovely spending time with you on Party Pervert Pedo Island

“They’re arguing that they need to negotiate policy changes. You cannot negotiate with liars. You cannot negotiate with murderers. You cannot negotiate with fascists.”
— CT Rep Jillian Gilchrest, US Congress Candidate, on Dems funding ICE for 2 more weeks

i think this is a key thing that makes "abolish ICE and undo DHS" good policy in and of itself

these killers are not fresh recruits, they're just existing guys who got the go ahead to be vicious thugs and pounced on the opportunity
Both of the agents responsible for killing Alex Pretti were hired long before the current surge where “training” could be a culprit.

The rot in Border Patrol and DHS at large runs very deep. There has to be a reckoning soon where we look at what we’ve created and how we got here /
BREAKING: The two federal immigration agents who fired on Minneapolis protester Alex Pretti are identified in government records as Border Patrol agent Jesus Ochoa and Customs and Border Protection officer Raymundo Gutierrez.

I wrote about how Trump’s debate stage lie of “they’re eating the pets”, a product of participatory propaganda, was mobilized into the policy that will strip the legal status away from many Haitian immigrants the week, and what that may mean for Springfield: katestarbird.substack.com/p/sensemakin...

My reflections on the ongoing framing contents around Minnesota, the right wing propaganda to policy pipeline, and worries that we may see the echoes of "they're eating the pets" falsehoods mobilized against Haitians in Springfield Ohio this week. open.substack.com/pub/katestar...

A federal judge stayed Noem’s decision to end Haiti’s temporary protected status, thank goodness. But it's still vital to understand how "they're eating the pets" participatory propaganda was used to motivate and justify that policy change. This article gives a detailed breakdown of that effort.
Highly recommend this article showing how the "They're Eating the Pets" refrain emerged from the right's participatory propaganda machine. Extremely relevant, as many Haitian immigrants (the targets of that false rumor/campaign) lose their status Feb 3. americanunreality.substack.com/p/american-u...

"I love the poorly educated," Trump declared in 2016. A decade later, MAGA has manifested that love into policy. They're purging scientists from govt; defunding R&D; and blocking the best & brightest from around the world from studying, teaching, working, or founding businesses in the United States.
Trump Is Making America Stupider
How MAGA is purging scientists and other skilled workers from both the private and public sectors.

Pretty much. Policy is "don't release files on active investigations" and they're active until appeals are done

The party that decided long ago to let elementary school kids be mass murdered in their classrooms was a clear sign that of a death cult heading toward what we see today, in addition to its supremacisms. It’s no surprise they’re so murderous across policy domains & inviting mass US death by disease.

… protecting its single market, its supply chains and its industrial strategy.

“Made in Europe” rules aren’t retaliation, they’re rational policy inside a union the UK chose to leave.

I have not been able to find any revocation of the most recent policy restrictions on DOJ/White House contacts regarding pending matters, so I guess that they’re just outright ignoring this.

Ahhhhh the 'ol "I'm not affected by Labour policy so I don't care that they're punching down on sick people and the left".

Trans people, disabled people, mentally unwell people, migrants, WASPI women... Is there a minority Labour HAVEN'T punched down on??
Knowing a few MPs, I honestly don’t believe this. There’s lots that’s been done on women’s rights and workers rights - actual legislation, not just rhetoric. But it hardly makes a ripple in the media!

Arnold Betrand X: “Epstein email: an exchange between him and Peter Thiel in which Thiel says that the grand "plan" of U.S. foreign policy is to make the world "a mess" in order to be less involved abroad.

Disgusting take and policy. I met a refugee in downtown Toronto with trench foot — a WWI disease — that he contracted while living unsheltered in the rain. Refugees are not why the system is failing; they're the people we have failed and are now scapegoating. www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/arti...

It’s one small step toward rebuilding trust in Canada’s immigration system

Before Donald Trump took office, ICE couldn’t raid schools, hospitals and churches. He reversed that policy on day one.

Grateful to @massgovernor.bsky.social and state leaders for stepping in to protect our neighbors, especially when they’re at their most vulnerable.
‘People have been killed’: Amid national outrage, Healey files bill to keep ICE out of Mass. schools, churches, and courts - The Boston Globe
The action comes after advocates in the state have urged Beacon Hill leaders to protect immigrants and implement any restrictions they can on ICE agents.

I'm working on a single graphic that illustrates how participatory propaganda becomes policy in the second Trump administration, particularly around the case of "They're Eating the Pets".

Still hoping we'll get to take that last label away before those ?s resolve.

The there are worse things than war and glib “peace kills” school of interventionist and foreign policy thought is kind of undermined by the fact that it is almost impossible to fathom nearly all the examples they’re thinking of rising up the way they did without World War I happening
February 1, 2026 at 5:37 PM
Once again, supposedly the POLICY is they’re not supposed to fire at a vehicle for fleeing. 🤦🏽‍♂️

But who is going to face any fucking consequences in this lawless regime?

Talking to country people: You know Nationals don't actually make policy that helps you.

Them: Nah.

*repeat for decades*

Them: You know, I don't think the Nationals make policy that helps us. They're in the pocket of the mining companies!

Me: YES!

Them: So now we're going to vote One Nation.

So it's media silence when the Deputy PM says NZers should starve themselves if they’re struggling financially rather than the govt doing anything to help.

But, imagine the outrage-o-meter going full tilt if the Greens or TPM advocated for a perfectly reasonable 'Ban Billionaires' policy.

Quick question: have any NZ media outlets confronted Seymour about his 'let them eat less' statement in Parliament?
He's the deputy PM for god's sake, whats stopping you?!

JD Vance literally during the campaign that the Trump housing policy was deporting 20 million people and now everyone is aghast that they're doing exactly what they said they would do
straight up Gestapo shit
January 31, 2026 at 10:35 PM
3/ Quick deportation needs judges, courts, to ensure fast processing. Instead, they’re building 150,000+ beds nationwide, skipping courts entirely. Beds cage. Judges free. They’re creating a national detention system disguised as immigration policy.

No one is safe if you don’t follow this regime.
January 31, 2026 at 12:34 AM
imho the Right realizes that they don’t have a lot of ground to stand on in the realm of morality or public perception of RW Immigration Policy, so they’re gonna wanna drag this back to a trench war of procedural gotchas. they hate “if all this offends you, you should join the left”, they can’t win.

The part that's most heartbreaking is that I know scientists who've made proposals like this. They're well-meaning but completely naive. I've attended UN meetings for5+ years and seen first-hand the damage these kinds of "studies" do to policy. They're on the wrong team and they don't even know it 😮‍💨
