I’m able to look in the mirror and understand both the morally bankrupt self destructive choice a vast majority of white Americans made and at the same time understand that Dem’s geriatric out of touch leadership has no clue how to meet the existential crisis we face.

With all the left turns Eya’s life has taken, she doesn’t really have any goals. She’s very much been surviving rather than thriving. Again, this is something that sends her into an existential crisis/depression post-game as she starts to settle into “normal” life in Waterdeep.

In 2025, we need to make an argument about climate and conservation that is an affordability argument (renewables are cheaper) and a health argument (asthma attacks, emphysema, COPD, heart attacks, cancer) as well as an existential, systemic problem.

We seem to have a government which prefers to stand on the sidelines uselessly wringing its hands while an existential battle is being fought to preserve liberal democracy in the face of a growing far-right threat.

I hear you. And like you, I’ve staffed legislative members, so am cynical when it comes to calls for shaking up leadership. But I’ve worried since the 2024 election that Dem leadership in DC doesn’t actually view Trump as an existential threat, and this disconnect w/ the base is really hurting us.
