#CorpSpeak
Yup pretty sure that's corpspeak for 'your contract is dead in the water' so I guess that just about does it for me 👍

An hour in and the Media Committee are still asking questions of (some of*) the social media publishers.
The answers are a blend of CorpSpeak and OTU (offloading to users)
(*) 𝕏.com pussied out...

people actually buy all that corpspeak "we're a family and take pride in our work" bs?

I nominate this sentence for the most boring ever written.

“The following segment marketing leaders will continue to drive core strategies and decisions in alignment with each segment's priorities, including ownership of marketing goals.”

But I know bad corpspeak is a crowded field.

Okay fine I admit it: it wasn't politics that made @maxlovecraft.bsky.social take a social media break; it was my decision to start "live-tweeting" my conference calls. #RTO #Corpspeak #IT #TPSreports

Someone on this call just said "make sure we documentate that" and oh man I didn't realize how much I missed the entertainment value of stupid corpspeak 😅 #corpspeak #RTO @maxlovecraft.bsky.social

Generative ‘AI’ doesn’t ‘Hallucinate’.

CorpSpeak nonsense.

It randomly generates ERRORS. Mis/Dis/Bad Info. Is often WRONG/UNRELIABLE/INACCURATE.

However.

A FuqTon of time/effort/hype has ALREADY been sunk into Branding it as, ‘The Next Big Thing’

It’s a MoneyPit.
Corporations are STUCK in it.
“In other words, AI reduces productivity, not increases it.”

Terrain update: had to reliability test the equipment for an hour or two to ensure everything runs correctly and adjust as needed = CorpSpeak for playing with trains

honestly hilarious to see it in every email from an executive these days

I mean, replicating corpspeak boilerplate is probably a good use for an LLM but it's so transparent

Me, having a corpspeak PTSD flashback after reading this

That’s the problem. It’s just waffle.

Firefox’s market share has plummeted precipitously so Mozilla need to make radical changes, keeping their current users while growing their user base.

The bland corpspeak of the new CEO does neither :(

So in general I’m not a fan of sans serif fonts. But serifs should be subtle and limited to where they clarify the character set for people. Whatever AI can do with it, I don’t give a shit.

There was a push in corpspeak in the 90s and 00s to use sans serif fonts because “It helps our Asian partners

I don't trust leaders who say, "I'm now going to pivot to..."

First, you're not pivoting; you're simply starting a new subject.

Second, if you were pivoting, you wouldn't have to tell us.

It's an issue of trust because you're not leading; you're just mindlessly parroting corpspeak you've heard.

as in can I reword my post or are the facilitators there to translate corpspeak? (or both hahahaha)

Translation from corpspeak?

I feel that "efficiency measures" is just corpspeak for: "Entshitify" and "Lower quality"
Canyon sales fall by £34m with "efficiency measures" now underway, months after parent company reduced bike brand's valuation by 43%
Financial performance blamed on "ongoing challenging market", as investment group that owns Canyon confirms "implementation of efficiency measures" needed to get back on track

I'm in an all-hands meeting and they are giving the RTO policy the old corporate rah-rah, "It's about collaboration and outcomes."

Empty corpspeak.

I wish the American economy wasn't such a shit-show, I'd start looking for something remote. Instead I feel trapped, stressed out, boxed in.

when one dept's corpspeak is unrecognizable to another's

once i was asking a webdev team abt something and they were like "we won't be able to get to this until after our current sprint"

sprint? where are you sprinting to??

That senator apparently understands the problem shouldn't be treated with ai-themed corpspeak or kid gloves, but as an influential anti-roe-v-wade far-rightist she helped erode her country to this point, and it's telling that Google listens to her and not others.

AI is so shitty at polishing writing.

I just finished stripping AI cruftuation from an RFP. ChatGPT loves the -, --, and --- instead of brackets, colons, semi-colons, and commas. Lolz

Plus it always, ALWAYS, adds corpspeak jargon. Synergize. Dynamic. Customer-facing. Proactive.

FML.

I don’t know how you spin, this my corpspeak isn’t high enough level

corpspeak tip: instead of ‘at the end of the day’, try ‘when we look back on our lives’ or ‘when the light begins to fade‘
