In the Disinformation Age three things need to be in place for something to be acceptable as useful information:

1) source credibility.

2) source validity.

3) source texture clarity.

The irony of living in Alberta is when gas is cheap at the pump people think things are great. Then the province runs out of money and cuts services, and we end up with 8 day ER waits.

When gas prices go up, and the coffers refill, the services stay gone. All thanks to O&G boom and bust.

This is what sedition looks like.

This is what a traitor does.

If you can milk a few million in donations and merch sales along the way, more the better.

I wonder if Alberta Separatists realize the crest on our flag (which they keep flying all over the place) has the St. George's Cross on it, which is our indication that we are firmly part of the Commonwealth.

FML, what happened in the last 12 hours? My feed is a sea of US politics, drowning out the art and music.

Oh, wait. Just another Monday in 2026.

The 'Forever Canadian' petition, led by former Deputy Premier Hon Thomas A. Lukaszuk, ECA, B.Ed, ICD.D, became the single most successful citizen initiative in Canadian history, collecting over 456,000 signatures—far exceeding the threshold. It should have slammed the door shut on separation talk.

Was last night some sort of insane confluence of stars and solar flares?

Every cat on my farm chose to get in a fight, spray urine on walls, drop turds everywhere but the litter boxes, and come down with projectile diarrhea. 🤢

It's like I have UCP politicians for mousers.

Me, 2025: feeds of politics, justice, change, news, economics, debate, climate change. Angry, scared, anxious, exhausted, informed.

Me, 2026: fuck all this. Art, music, cats, poetry, dungeons & dragons.

Ask me in 12 months how it goes. Assuming I am not stuck in an asymmetric war against the USA.

The economic problems of today, and by extension the social and political problems, can be traced back to 5000 ultra-rich people, 2500 corporations, 1200 institutional investors, and 150 banking institutions.

There are 7.5 billion of us. Under 10,000 of them.

In general, people on socials are like Job's friends. You come to lent and vent. They come to explain all the ways everything is your fault, and how you did everything wrong, and that you are the maker of your own misery.

Don't be Job's friends.
