This is 💯 on the UCP government. The UCP have cut social progams, crippled public health, silenced the CMOH, and dismantled AHS. There is no one left to be their scapegoat.

Alberta declares a tuberculosis outbreak in Edmonton.

This combined with such an increase of homelessness is terrible.

This comes just days after Canada lost its measles elimination status—with Alberta having highest case concentrations.

It's #Transgender awareness week.

PSA: We accept people for who they are.

No one should face hatred/discrimination due to their gender.

A child's health decisions are between them, their parents & doctor.

We stand firmly opposed to the UCP's attacks against trans people & youth.

More than embarrassing. Dangerous, with the danger foreseen. Alberta has 38% of measles cases in Canada. It has only 11½% of the Canadian population.
Alberta has more cases than the entire USA.

I spoke with the Edmonton Journal about Canada losing its measles elimination status — the only G7 country to do so.

40% of outbreaks are in Alberta, where the UCP blocked its top doctor from urging vaccines.

Well, we’ve tried the “let everything rip” approach to public health…perhaps we can now return to the days of evidence-based decisions. Call me old fashioned, but I don’t much care for the idea of kids dying from more preventable illnesses.
