Pretty sure she can manage on that poverty wage of hers to stretch to a couple of Bromptons for the kid and the adult kid to cycle to school/the bus stop. I'm sure it's tough though, only being on £150,000 a year. Bless.

Some progress elsewhere as well, as the new London NorthWestern trains (Class 730) have a good bike/seating section. The seat belt frame holder, works really well for multiple bikes.

My wife wanted to sit on a beach, any beach, today for her birthday so we rode our #bromptons with folding chairs on our backs and sandwiches and drinks in our carry bags and took the ferry to Ward’s Island and spent the day on the beach. It was lovely!

Another pet peeve when commuting by train is people with Bromptons who insist on assembling their bike before getting off the train... Ugh. Honestly most people could do with re-education camps because what is the constant inconsiderate behaviour in public...

Totally makes sense to have three or more Bromptons 🫣
- one for utility
- one that’s electric for the tired moments
- one for gravel bits
- a colorful, rare, or decked out one just because

Wonderful. This little baby is coming with me to Japan in six weeks time. Sadly only for 3 days cycling squeezed between work stuff. But Bromptons do make for a good travel bike.

Hi everyone! 👋 My dad and I will be visiting Romania for two weeks from May 20 to June 6, and we’re planning to spend one week cycling in Transylvania. We’ll be riding two Brompton folding bikes and looking to do a loop starting and ending in Brașov. We're not hardcore cyclists – we enjoy a scenic ride, good food, and soaking in the local vibes. We're hoping for daily distances of around 70–80 km, and we're okay with some light hills but would prefer to avoid heavy climbs if possible (especially with luggage). We’d love your recommendations on: Nice routes/roads that are bike-friendly (preferably not too much

While it'll cost a little more I've been pretty impressed by the Youtube videos Brilliant Bikes do, they're a specialist Brompton dealer (though not annoited with Gold status) and look to genuinely care about Bromptons, so it would nice to support them.

Sure the tiny folded size of Bromptons is hard to beat. But Dahon and Tern have one big advantage IMO: 20-inch wheels on most of their models. I'd pick a Brompton for commuting, especially if I needed to carry it on public transit. Otherwise, the ride quality of the bigger wheels is preferable.
