I fell from a height in 2009, cutting my head and sustaining a concussion. The ambulance, treatment and X-ray were all free. I bypassed triage because it was a head injury and was in and out of hospital within an hour.

I've said repeatedly that the reason so many drivers think cyclists are constantly breaking the law is because they don't know what the law is. Volume of motor vehicle traffic is also why roads are in such bad nick despite government spending a fortune on them. It doesn't have to be like this.

It's probably very petty of me but I find it hilarious that after all the lobbying Moseley Forum did to get public money blown on block paving and a 'roundel' for the junction outside the new railway station, they've still ended up with a formal, bog-standard mini-roundabout on tarmac.
