I haven't played Y:LaD in months but something just occurred to me.
The games would feel slightly less misogynistic if all job classes were available to all characters.
I want to see Ichiban as an idol, Saeko as a bodyguard, Nanba as a night queen.

I'm having trouble deciding whether I like "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" or not. I'm finding that I miss elements of the PS2 Yakuza titles.
Also, can they not write compelling and/or complex women characters? Each one feels like a mishmash of "deferential," "sexy," "helpless," and "vapid" archetypes.

It always blew me away that people threw money at them. I feel they lost journalistic integrity a dozen times even before he was elected.
