Speaking as a privacy and security anti-surveillance person. To only wear a mask to thwart surveillance of yourself (which is not guaranteed with just a mask btw), but not wear one to protect each other from viruses and germs, is ableist.

My other problematic take is to be white in this country is to expect comfort and when for whatever reason comfort is denied you , white people have been trained to eliminate the source of the discomfort rather than interrogate it.
