That beloved pink, orange, and white paper bag and a regular iced coffee from Dunks is sitting and waiting for me. My lips curl to a genuine, appreciative smile! Haha, fuck yes! I love that wonderful girl so fucking much! It makes the beginning of my bad day so much better! Though, as I wonder how Jess could have known I didn't just stay home sick, I discover the book I needed isn't actually inside my locker. And shit, I know exactly where it is, too! Well, and so… my crappy day continues, but at least I have an iced coffee and a pastry! With a sigh, I remove the treats from the locker and go on with my day, strolling ridiculously late to my first class— enough time to get the homework. Ugh! The rest of my day has exactly the same vibe. Man, I swear I'm not usually this forgetful or stupid! To sum it up, the unfortunate Top 3: 3) I get a D on my English paper, which I worked really fucking hard on! 2) New seating arrangements in French 3 has me now sitting next to Paulie's crazy ex— by which I mean she actually stalked him and caused some major-ass drama —and this arrangement is all for group projects which means I have to work with her, too. Yay! 1) And to top it off, I'm now wearing sweaty-ass gym shorts I shoulda taken home a week ago because I sat in chocolate pudding during lunch. Some kids still call me Tinkles from an incident that happened years ago, I didn't need to add Poopsy or Shitter to my roster of crude nicknames.

Every “rule” has an exception. Double negatives? Useful in dialogue. Split infinitives? Sometimes more precise. Sentence-ending prepositions? Natural in speech. The trick: know the rule, then break it to serve rhythm, tone, or truth.

so im not in a 1 musical on repeat kick rn, however the last one was Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, & i still go back to listen to songs on repeat like Pierre or Dust & Ashes. & i dont just listen to josh groban songs, i had the duel on repeat for a bit and sonya alone… prologue, yeah

I only did pizza for nine years, but after that (relatively) short time I got so used to the feel of dough that I could judge temperatures within two degrees by hand, nail weights without a scale, and get a full pie from phone to oven in twenty seconds.

“Your Honor, it seems your impartiality in this case has been compromised,” I pointed out, as my lawyer tried to shut me up. “This is a mistrial.” “Contempt of court!” she bellowed, banging her gavel for no reason I could tell. “Take this corruptor of children and decency back to his cell!” “The pill bottles specifically said they were only for people age eighteen and up!” I shouted as the bailiffs tackled me. “And it’s public record that I’m allergic to children!” They cuffed my hands behind my back, and one of them kicked me in the face; I decided against biting his ankle. Ten minutes later, the armored car rumbled down the road back to the prison where I was being held; the ruined streets teemed with berserk hamsters that clawed madly at the steel walls of the truck and turned the wheel wells into a soupy mess. How had things gone so wrong? I asked myself for the infinityeth time.

No living soul knows.

The Germanic ancestor of 'soul' can be reconstructed, but attempts to reconstruct its further origin or find cognates have only been speculative.

Anyway, The Perv rushes to release Twiggy and straightens his wrinkled worn out shirt and jean jacket. If he had hair, I’m sure he’d be brushing that out, too. Miss Copperhead freezes at the sight of him then immediately spins around to leave. I raise my brows. So she hadn’t come to rescue Kitty. Interesting!
