One small thing you can do today: ICE is ramping up in Maine. Food For All is delivering meals to 300 families that can't leave their homes. They need $7k a day to continue operations. The Culture Study community is raising enough to cover a day—join us?

As a Canadian, I support these protesters. It's inspiring to see them out there, be it frigid temps or not, resisting fascism and the terror brought into their cities by ICE. #FuckICE #FuckTrump
Today: Thousands in Savannah, GA show anti-ICE solidarity with the Twin Cities.

We're a small city but we make a lot of noise. 📢 🤍

It has been confirmed that Alex was a lawful gun owner and did not threaten ICE with a weapon. Early video reports indicate the weapon was taken by ICE and shots were then fired to execute him.

Writers love to discuss the obscure and wacky things we research that could get us landed on watch lists. What about the mundane, boring things, though? For example, me today: researching insurance fraud. Send coffee. #writingcommunity

"Nothing about this is normal

Wake up, scroll, see a woman killed
Get up, get dressed, see a man shot
Go to work, answer an email, see a child arrested
Sit in a meeting, talk to your boss, see a man beat up"

I finished chapter 6 of “Beyond Cover” yesterday which felt really great - it was a scene I had been stuck on since about Xmas. Sometimes taking a little break to rethink a particular scene or chapter really helps. 1/2

This is a quick update from my week. Long story short, work got busy, no writing got done, so nothing got posted. I am spending this weekend catching up on some things. What started as an offline hiatus for a couple days turned into a busy and exhausted work week. #writingcommunity
