You live with the opponent taking a 30-foot last shot in a tie game. That's just a great shot by Keyonte George.

JD Vance owns a company that buys American real estate and sells it to foreign investors. They specifically target Americans in crisis to buy their property for less than it is worth.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Greenblatt never saw an elected official who went to Bronx High School? Maybe he means an official who graduated from Bowdoin College. Or maybe Greenblatt is talking about never seeing an official who has a mom who is a Punjab Hindu.

Or perhaps Jonathan Greenblatt is an Islamophobic piece of shit.

NARRATOR: It was not, in fact, AI.
Trump: "They cheated on a commercial. Ronald Reagan loved tariffs and they said he didn't. And I guess it was AI or something. They cheated badly. Canada got caught cheating on a commercial. Can you believe it?"

Welcome new people. I was asked at dinner last night whether Bluesky was an echo chamber. I said it doesn’t matter, because what I want from social media isn’t to talk to young republicans taking a break from their group chat, but to read things I want to read but that I might have missed.
The thing I want most from social media is for people to share things that I might want to read or watch that otherwise I wouldn’t read or watch, whether news, commentary, books, movies, tv, games to play, whatever. Bluesky does this. /4

This Cubs season ends with a 3-1 loss to the Brewers in Game 5 of the NLDS.

All four runs in tonight's game came on solo homers. Cubs pitchers couldn't finish off at-bats/innings as the Brewers' three homers all were with 2 outs.

The opportunity Cubs wasted in the top of the 6th inning will sting.

The FDA statement ends with a paragraph undermining its own warning.

They signal parents to avoid acetaminophen. Except sometimes. And then:

No “causal relationship… established” with ADHD or autism

AND

Alternatives to acetaminophen have “well-documented adverse impacts.”

Science doesn’t care about your gut beliefs or if you own a company that sells supplements. Science is a powerful tool 'cuz it requires peer-reviewed, double-blind testing & statistical validity. Otherwise, it’s easy to be fooled with wishful thinking, a recipe for disaster.

There is no world in which it is normal for the president to publicly call upon his attorney general to hurry up and prosecute his political foes. It’s like the Watergate tapes but posted on social media. Let’s get a grip on what’s happening here.

Third time (at least) Trump has made a joke or light of killing fishermen, and Vance did it too. They’ve made joking about killing fishermen an effing talking point.
Trump: "I think water fishing, I think almost anything we have to get into a boat right now in that area would not be doing too well."

The public comment period ends TOMORROW.

After the DOGE purge, reality is setting in. It turns out, workers are actually needed. The FAA just announced plans to hire at least 8,900 air traffic controllers. The National Weather Service is bringing on hundreds of new staff, just months after losing more than 500 people.

He once mocked a crying cop. Now he may run the nation’s largest police force.

Zohran Mamdani will face a gauntlet of political pitfalls should he win the NYC mayoral race and find himself at the helm of the NYPD.
