It's almost like the App and Play Stores have never been about moderation or keeping users safe, they've been about control and taxing developers wherever possible
It is genuinely unbelievable to me that I wasted hours of my actual life on a court case where Apple explained it needed total control of its App Store to protect its users. Total control of the App Store was Apple’s main argument against antitrust enforcement: The company insisted that its monopolistic control of what users could install on their phones was essential to create a walled garden where it could protect children from unsafe content. Ha! Ha ha ha!!

The whole "Grok admits" "Grok apologizes" thing reminds me of the famous IBM presentation quote that evidently everyone has forgotten. And I do think representing your brand on social media counts as a "management decision".

In Österreich werden im Schnitt 335 Betretungs- und Annäherungsverbote pro Woche ausgesprochen. 48 pro Tag. Das heißt: Alle halben Stunden bedroht ein Mann hierzulande eine Frau so massiv, dass die Polizei ihm verbieten muss, ihr nahe zu kommen. Dunkelziffer nicht eingerechnet.
