NEW: After Donald Trump was elected again, I started talking to trans, leftist, and anarchist gun enthusiasts and YouTubers. I wanted to know how they felt about community defense when it feels like rights, particularly for trans folks, are being stripped away: www.wired.com/story/the-ha...
The Hard-Left Shooters Leading a Gun Culture Revolution
Earlier this year, I attended a shooting competition for queer, often trans, very online misfits. Then Charlie Kirk was killed.

Tech Disrupted Friendship. It’s Time to Bring It Back
Two decades ago social media promised to connect people with pals far and wide. Twenty years online has left us turning to AI for kinship. IRL companionship is the future.

NEW: We all stuck around to pore over the Epstein files so you don't have to.

To sum up: "curious but far from revelatory"
Here's What's in the DOJ's Epstein File Release—and What's Missing
From photos of former President Bill Clinton to images of strange scrapbooks, the Justice Department’s release is curious but far from revelatory.

The DOJ's Jeffrey Epstein Files Are Here
Forced by an act of Congress, the Justice Department has released “hundreds of thousands” of pages of documents related to Epstein—but not everything, as is required by law.

I misspoke, it appears the priciest option is a cocaine module for $75, which is not that much less than the street price of a gram of actual cocaine.
People are paying up to $50 to get their chatbots high on "drugs" (code modules) that simulate the effects of cocaine, ayahuasca, cannabis, alcohol, and ketamine. Some tell @matthabusby.bsky.social it's made their chatbots more "human" and "free-thinking."
