Pump up the Volume was one of my favourite movies as a teen and although it was fictional, it taught me that even if they silence one person, they can’t silence everyone. So keep calling out injustice and corruption locally and globally, because staying silent won’t save you.

The "work for hire"/freelance set-up of comics work is not great for most creators, in terms of long-term benefit. This is one reason (among others) to actively support creator-owned comics when you can, alongside the work you may enjoy from Marvel/DC/etc.
Watching comic writers/artists beg for money for medical bills, while their creations reap billions, has been quite eye-opening.

People need to stop talking about running the country like a business, and start talking about running it like a household. You spend money on things like housing, health, & food for all the occupants, regardless
