Observation: There seems to be a pattern where the earlier engineer-led projects at Musk's companies (Tesla Roadster, Falcon 9) generally work.

These are followed up by projects with more early Elon design involvement (Cybertruck, Starship) that have a greater tendency to erupt in flames...

When run-of-the-mill protests meet armored troops while actual insurrectionists get pardons, it’s not just policy that shifts. It’s the terms of engagement. The rules are being rewritten, and they're not in the people's favor.

Maybe everyone who lives in a ‘special economic zone’ should have to appear before their local tech lord and swear oaths of fealty and then those local lords could in turn deliver their own oaths to an overlord, and promise to raise armies to support him when he calls his banners…
Balaji Srinivasan suggests giving Elon Musk “control of a huge swath of land surrounding Starbase, Texas” & designate that land as “a military base or … similar, so that [Musk] can fence it off & determine at his sole discretion who can enter.” Then replicate in other states w/ other Tech Bros. 1/

REMINDER: Cutting IRS spending is not a “cost-cutting” move.

Cutting the IRS lowers revenue.

It’s a move to protect the wealthy, like Elon Musk.

Auditing the rich returns $12 for every $1 spent.

Remember the "FBI did Jan. 6" thing? According to a new inspector general report, they didn't.

FBI at the Capitol riot? Nope. Joe Biden taking a bribe? Even more nope. New evidence that emerged Thursday via an inspector general report and guilty plea further debunk the claims.

What if I told you the gun rather than the mask should be the subject of both policy concern and social stigma
Mayor Eric Adams is continuing his anti-mask war on disabled people. He truly has incredible priorities. I imagine a mask ban is imminent because won't someone think of the billionaire CEOs. It goes without saying that banning masks or forcing people to unmask will disproportionally impact POC.
