it's crazy that 500 years ago, you would see the ruler of your country maybe once in your life and hear whispers that they're the Sun God, but now with social media, you get to see on a daily basis that they're the most unhinged, idiotic, and unhappy person you know

if you’re a dem who tut-tutted couchfucking and quietly agreed that Walz should drop the highly successful “weird” angle - then I want you to stfu and get out of the way for the Epstein goss, because it has wheels… and the left needs to drive it like we stole it 👇
It’s frustrating that Democrats are scuffling to win any battles

But the Republicans control all 3 branches of the government

Which is why we MUST keep pushing the Trump/Epstein connection

Because the administration can’t simply make it go away with legislation, litigation or any Executive Order
New in PN: On Epstein, Democrats have Mike Johnson running scared

"Resistance doesn’t always work. But failing to resist never does. It’s late for Democrats to be learning that lesson, but better now than never."

So anyway let's talk about various risks involved with raw milk. Those risks come in a couple categories: animal health, and sanitation/contamination risks.
Ok look. I have drunk raw goat milk and I probably will again, because when I do it I own the goats and am intimately familiar with their health and the way they're milked and the way the milk is handled. There is NOTHING that would induce me to purchase commercialized raw milk. Nothing.
The coffee is tested for aflatoxin, the raw milk is *not* tested for Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, and Campylobacter.

That's the "you'll die shitting yourself in agony" promise here at Medieval Times.

This also means no new respirator approvals, no more National Firefighter Registry for Cancer, no new Fire Fighter Fatality Investigation and Prevention Program requests, and gutting the Coal Workers’ Health Surveillance Program. And for what? There is not a hell hellish enough for this asshole.

I'm always confused about the substack issue. I subscribe to trans and feminist journalists like Erin Reed and Jessica Valenti and I haven't found the type of reporting they do elsewhere besides Propublica, which I also support. Indie/nonprofit media is great but Substack seems necessary too.

Correction: The $900 million cut is just to NPS operations. They want to cut another $308 million from an NPS Historic Preservation, Construction and Recreation funds.

So, its closer to a 40% cut to the NPS budget.

Please read/share if you love your national parks!
New from @pamherd.bsky.social & me: A DOGEr is now running the National Park Service.

They were already short of employees to manage record crowds. DOGE has cut 13% and wants to cut 30%.

Every media outlet, including trans ones, are missing the big picture about the bogus, Chat GPT, anonymous (SEGM) report on health care for trans people. Here's the parts that matter MOST:

1. It includes social transition as medical intervention. 1/n

The review, which was made possible by an executive order calling transgender healthcare "mutilation," reached its predetermined conclusion on its May 1st publication date.

If President Trump can wrongly deport a Maryland father to a prison in El Salvador and then defy a 9-0 Supreme Court order to facilitate bringing him home, who’s next?

This threatens the rights and freedoms of everyone in the United States.

One thing I wish people understood about authoritarianism is life often looks more or less the same. Troops aren’t marching down the street every day; people go to restaurants, have their office jobs. But everyone knows that stepping out of line, even slightly, can derail your life with no recourse

It's as American as chattel slavery, the Trail of Tears, Japanese internment, and Indian Boarding Schools. Project 2025 really isn't relying on any other history than America's. I need y'all to tap into what has been happening here all along.
The Trump administration is saying that they can deny due process to anyone they want and deport them to dangerous foreign prisons.

This isn’t even Project 2025.
This is Nazi Germany 1933.
Trump administration contends it has no duty to return illegally deported man to US
The administration’s position suggests officials do not view the Supreme Court’s order as compelling them to seek Abrego Garcia’s return.

hi, cis folks!

if we *are* going to talk ACA, RFK's HHS proposed a rule to remove *all trans care* from ACA essential health benefit status.

~25mil people are insured by ACA & if 1% are trans, that's 250,000 people who'd lose access to care.

that's bad! take 2 minutes to stand with trans people.🧵

And if someone says, snarkily, “what, even people who have done bad things?”

The answer is FUCKING YES, because the government has to prove you did bad things.

THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT.

It's annoying how clearly this is going to play out.

They gut the FAA.
Therefore, the FAA can't do its job well because it was gutted.
Therefore, they say "The FAA sucks, we have to privatize it." which is what Project 2025 wants to do. They're manufacturing the crises for their end goal.
