Chris Cuomo is trying to make this atrocious little mustache happen even though it looks like he drew it on with a ballpoint pen

Former House speaker / Trump adviser newt Gingrich, saying on the record what we’d heard so much on background from those others:
“Look at the rage on the left. It doesn’t sound like a victory party to me. All you have to do is look at the reaction on the left to figure out who won this shutdown…”

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the $2,000 'tariff rebate' shit happens.
Covid stimulus checks were a membrane that they threw up around the banking sector; That's why they're keen to have them deposited directly into your bank acct.
System's getting worse.
It's defensive; not stimulative.

It’s okay because the Republicans promised to hold this exact same vote in a month
UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

If you've ever seen The Big Short;
This is BlackRock (supposedly one of the, if not the premier money managers) getting hit with the reality that the AAA rating on loans they were underwriting was ostensibly no different than a B rating (the whole fund got wiped out, rather than just the 'risky')

Pretty wild to float this now considering the Supreme Court has ostensibly balked at the Trump Admin's case for emergency powers to implement these tariffs.
If the Supreme Court were to overturn them; The United States would be forced to pay back every cent of Tariff Revenue it collected.

Donald Trump Brings Up Idea of Giving Americans $2000 in 'Tariff Dividend'
It's no secret Donald Trump's all about the big bucks ... and he's floating the idea of sharing a bit of cash picked up from his infamous tariffs with a good chunk of the country.
