When Renee Good said "I'm not mad at you" what the ICE goon heard was "I'm not scared of you."

That's what enraged him. The populace wasn't fully terrorized and cowed into submission yet, so he acted to make that happen.

they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.

That was my takeaway too. She's clearly turning the wheel to her right.

I've slowed the video down here.

I’m just suggesting that “kitchen table issues” might have to take a back seat to “you might get shot in the face by the federal government after dropping your kid off at school.”

Yes, JD. Let’s ask them if they think a stay at home mom, avowed Christian, and widow of a veteran deserved to be shot in the face and left to bleed out in her own car after dropping her 6-year-old off at school, for the crime of looking out for her neighbors. Let’s ask everyone running for office.

The most antisocial animating force in American politics - whether you’re being shot in the face by a republican or yelled at online by a liberal - is crybullying. Just an unbelievably excruciating nation of crybullies yearning for victimhood

I need major figures to stop suggesting that a lack of training is why ICE murdered a person yesterday. Noem has said that the agent did exactly what he was trained to do.

The problem is that this regime has promised ICE agents "absolute immunity" for their actions. They have no accountability.

Sure they 'can', but you won't. Until you say you're arresting someone, don't go on TV at all. Why do you need to be on TV Keith? Why aren't you doing your job right now?
Ellison: "State authorities can investigate anyway. We don't need their authority. It's at least arguable that there's a violation of MN statues here. All of them depend on an investigation though. And the federal govt can't stop MN from doing it's own, but I would hope it wouldn't come to that."

Right. The point is not “it matters extra because it’s a citizen,” the point is “we either hang together or we will all hang separately.”
i think it is ok to reiterate that the victim as a us citizen. yes, noncitizens are equally entitled to human rights. but also, it's important to illustrate how ice isn't about immigration at all

it's kind of pathetic that, even in this deeply evil political climate, Kyle Rittenhouse was too annoying to turn murdering someone into a rightwing pundit career. his full time job is that he has a blue check and posts things like "ha ha should i kill someone again" for money
Kyle Rittenhouse thinks the murder of an American citizen in Minnapolis by an ICE Nazi is hilarious. 😳👇

I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem, who is an incompetent leader and a disgrace to our democracy.

She wreaked havoc in the Chicagoland area and has brought her reign of terror to Minneapolis. One of her rogue ICE agents shot and killed an innocent woman today. It must come to an end.

I want to build a world where every day can be a Grinch toilet day. I never want to make a serious post again for the rest of my life
Kinda sucks how one day you’ll post stuff like “does the Grinch use the toilet?” and then the next it has to be “I reject those who worship death”

there have been bright spots here and there but the reluctance of the party overall to put ICE front and center isn’t sustainable. the cities are your base
is it not weird that every day there’s a new video of anonymous masked men having the time of their lives beating/shooting/disappearing people and the dem response from the top down is “republicans want to double your health insurance premiums”

It takes an enormous amount of courage to stand there, keep filming, and scream "What the fuck, you asshole" at someone wearing a badge who just shot and killed one of your neighbors in cold blood.
I need people to wrap their minds around the fact that here in Minneapolis, ICE broke the window of a vehicle yesterday, pepper sprayed the occupants, and arrested them, and shot another observer in the face today, and OBSERVERS ARE STILL GOING OUT TO PROTECT THEIR NEIGHBORS AT MASSIVE PERSONAL RISK
I’m eating lunch, I’m having a panic attack, I’m charging my phone, and then I’m going back out to try and keep my neighborhood safe.
