Messed up badly in the 6th form and left a month before my A level exams. Took a 6 week temp role in the UK public sector to get some money in. 38 years later I like to think I’ve done some good in the world.
I applied for a job, didn’t get it but got offered a 5 month temp post at something very different. 15 years later, they still haven’t realised I’ve no idea what I’m doing…
