Love this! My visit to thrift this week included a stuffed sea gull (nobody needs to see that) and this little reminder of the Red Flag. Also many tureens which are always fun to find.

Christmas cake is happening part 2

- use of 1 tablespoon of black treacle, the rest will now sit in the back of cupboard until end of time

- helped by pooch who’d like to lick the bowl out but is not allowed
