He’s sending air traffic controllers who stayed a $10K bonus after threatening to take money from those who didn’t.
There’s always💰when it’s convenient.

Dear Senator Schumer-
Go fuck yourself.
Go fuck yourself.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis
For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare
We will keep fighting

Canada has just lost measles elimination status. The U.S. will undoubtedly follow shortly.
Elimination means that there is no continuous spreading of measles within the country for a year or longer.
Canada and the U.S. have blown it, and it’s largely the fault of the anti-vaccination movement.

He was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE grabbed him
His health is declining, they won’t let him get his legs and they’ve placed him in solitary

Rodney has been in the country more than 40 years. He's in solitary confinement in Georgia, being denied disability accommodations and having his medical needs ignored. He must be released.

As many of you know, a handful of Dem Sens have voted on a CR that keeps the government funded until Jan 30, which would end the shutdown. For those watching for anti-trans provisions, there are none in the CR.
Senate Vets-MilCon, Leg, Ag minibus bills for FY26 have no riders.

Dems have spent the past two months saying they're fighting to address the crisis of spiking healthcare costs and now they're caving for a deal that does nothing to address healthcare costs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

not snark, actually asking: after pushing a comma strategy that focused on health care, what is the case for the Democrats making a deal to end the shutdown now that doesn't involve a win on health care?

The thing about ACA is that if an American describes how it works to someone from literally anywhere else, the other person will be utterly horrified at its deliberate cruelty.
The way the horror of pre-ACA healthcare sounds to an American, is basically how ACA sounds to everyone else on earth.

Also 15 billion for a statewide childcare program is cheap as shit for that value. Like that’s the kind of rhetoric required for this moment. “Our kids will all be cared for and it’ll cost us a song” rather than pulling out your pockets and saying “golly geez… but how!?”

I have been incredibly lucky that every single older person in my life has gotten less hateful with age.
Reading this article makes me think of how many of us have found that previously kind and gentle people turned nasty later in life. Usually it has to do with what media that simmer in.

This is ick on many levels but also as a shopper I do not want this. I wear headphones to avoid interacting with people. My favorite thing about big box hardware stores is they leave you the fuck alone.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.
They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.
If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."
🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.

Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.
