Yeah, some friends from back home who have mostly been on the right are posting about their support of Alex Pretti. I don't know if it's because of the many videos or the fact that he was lawfully carrying, but there is definitely something different about this shooting.

This thread is completely true. I had read some speculation when details were still sketchy that ICE planted the gun and my initial response was “no, because if they planted a gun it’d be a Turkish clone or a cheap hi-point, not a custom sig w/ an optic” (1/2)

This photo was almost immediately distributed by the feds. I think that doing so was, for them and their attempt to whitewash the murder, a *huge* error.

One thing I learned from my brief time in the military is that plenty of people have physical courage but no moral courage. They can jump out of an airplane, or even deploy to a combat zone, but are absolutely INCAPABLE of admitting they were wrong about something. They'd rather double down.
