Driving out for emergency birthday sushi because the power company texted me that they're shutting off our power right now.
(They did give us a half hour notice, but I was driving when they sent it, and it takes time to get kids in the car.)

I mentioned to a friend I'd be listening to Necroscope next since a reviewer mentioned my books were similar, and I wanted to learn why.
