I know but the best part of writing books is publishing them so I can finally stop rereading it and move on to the next shiny. 😂

(I love all my books and it's fun watching them grow into their best selves. They're also infuriating when they won't behave how I want them to. Like kids.)

A part of me wishes it had only been a few months, I'd feel better at not having book 3 edited and published yet. 🤣

But still moving forward, which matters. (Not editing yet, but brain is actively percolating on fixes for plot issues, and I like the direction it's going.)

I love writing their friendship, and growing trust. They understand each other's traumas, and help each other heal.

All day today I've had this image of them dancing to Heathens by Aurora, which always makes me think of their homeworld, Janikk, and all its deadly wildlife.
