The pharmacy is out of one of my anxiety medications. I should probably be prepared for an increase in seizures next week.

Sometimes I think it must seem like I'm out of the loop because I'm so into plants, knitting, juggling, writing, talking to cats, painting, etc.

That's because... well, it's true. I am always out of the loop. Those are, in fact, the reasons why.

I made a Christmas ornament of a favorite book for a family member last year. They loved it so much that I'll be making them another one of a different book this year. This may be our new Christmas tradition.

No need to schedule an appointment for a divination reading. I send you a pdf report with pictures and explanation.

I'm trying to keep this accessible while still being paid for my work, so prices go from $10 to $20.
I have several options for divination readings including tarot cards, tarot + oracle cards, and dice readings.

Readings are delivered by email as detailed pdf reports with photos and walkthrough explanations. I do not assume you are already familiar with meanings.

When folks gripe about DEI, remind them who benefited from shutting out dancers like Copeland. That pattern runs through our whole history.

There are reasons I need to be careful about certain types of books, so I appreciate reviews with enough info to let me judge whether I should read it, regardless of whether or not the reviewer liked it.

I don't know about the one I saw that was 4 out of 5 stars and the whole comment was "DNF'd".

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WILF! It’s one of the best days of the year: the day we celebrate the miracle that is this guy somehow living long enough to find us. I’m so glad he did.

I just realized something that was only two months ago feels like it's been much longer. Then I realized every month has been six months long this year. I don't know if I can take a December that goes on like that.

What I found so valuable about writing critically about media in my 20s is that it helped me SEE and unpack where it was problematic. It didn't mean I stopped loving it. When you hold every piece of media to impossible standard, you'll never love anything again. What a terrible world that would be

Being able to articulate WHY something works is, for me, even more important these days than identifying why it DOESN'T. This is a key we're losing in the hate watch/hate read culture promoted by algorithms. You either have to love all of something completely or hate all of something completely.

I still have some anxiety and mixed feelings, but I talked about this with a few people and I do think it's the right thing.
