On my latest youtube video I talk about indie bookstores and the indie writer. There is some bad advice floating on the booktubes (from a small press publisher who should know better) about not working with bookstores, calling it a waste of money.

Is it though? I don't think so.

What radiant vitality.

Formal innovations become mesmerising incantations in this comet of a #poem, lighting up a dark sky, and leaving a trail of power and possibility in its wake.

Yesterday was rough for me, at least in part because I forgot to take my morning meds. So maybe do a little double check in on yourself. Did you really take your meds? Did you actually drink the water you poured for yourself? You meant to rest your eyes and stretch, but did you?

Today has been staggering. The news, my god. I found peace in a couple of moments: one, in my yoga practice; another while reading about an artist I admire very much. I hope everyone can have a moment or two of calm to sustain themselves. I’m sorry to say, we’re in this for the long haul.
