This is all deadly serious, but I can't help laughing at just how hard this dude tries and fails at being a stern authority figure. I keep wanting to scratch him behind the ears and say "Who's a big boy vice president? Who is it? Is it you? Is JD a big boy vice president?" while his tail wags.

Every time something like this happens, I am reminded due process matters even in a flawed and unequal justice system. Law-enforcement officers are not the justice system. And part of their job is to deal with the public. It’s striking, how many of these people lead with cowardice and blood thirst.
