I didn’t realize how crucial this distinction was until grad school. As I became a more credentialed Black woman, folks thought they should argue more, regardless of whether they disagreed. Social media has taken it to the next level. And it’s never more clearly illustrated than on Tressie’s skyline

Sadly, I can't reply to her reply. But, it's more than possible that a lot of professional people see unionization as defensive or protective and possibly empowering. If MDs are being proletarianized, unionization makes sense as a strategy. They have to know it's only partially helped nursing...
