Turning campaigns into mutual aid hubs isn’t good for campaigns or mutual aid! Your campaign manager should be entirely too busy to schlep around 5600 tampons!

Let them go. They either contribute or they stand in the way of these policies. And we all know, most of them won’t leave. See NYC and MA as examples. Tax the wealthy.

more confirmation that lurking clearly behind this idea of the “heritage american” is a straightforward contempt for the actual history and tradition of this country, such that vermeule has to hallucinate a framework to justify his desire to jettison the clear meaning of the 14th amendment
I had missed this latest delirium by Adrian Vermeule on birthright citizenship

'Common law?! NAH, it's the Roman law of adoption that should govern the interpretation of the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution!'

They predicted the highly-wealthy would leave MA when it passed a millionaire’s tax (an additional 4% surcharge on income over $1 million.

They did not leave. Economy did just great. We have revenue to fix stuff.
Billionaires are considering cutting or reducing their ties to California by the end of the year because of a proposed ballot measure that could tax the state’s wealthiest residents.
A Wealth Tax Floated in California Has Billionaires Thinking of Leaving
It’s uncertain whether the proposal will reach the statewide ballot in November, but some billionaires like Peter Thiel and Larry Page may be unwilling to take the risk.

No woman I know in academia would be surprised by this, but its good to see it documented like this, I guess.
Experimental evidence that students are more likely to contest grades when they are delivered by an evaluator with a female-sounding name.

"These findings suggest that women in evaluative positions face disproportionate resistance when delivering negative assessments."

This is because Miller sees migrants as unworthy Black & Brown people. White migrants are just yet to be Americans to white supremacy. But Black & Brown people never can truly belong because whiteness is the sole credential.
Imagine watching Sinatra, son of Dolly & Antonini born in Genoa & Sicily, respectively, and Martin, son of Gaetano & Angela, born in Montesilvano, Italy & Ohio respectively, (Angela to parents born in Monasterolo, Italy), and crusading against the value of children of immigrants to the U.S.

It remains wild to me that during the first trump administration there was a long debate over terminology after AOC (correctly) called border internment "concentration camps" and now having concentration camps is a core domestic policy.

The purpose of that stupid debate was to normalize the idea.

I don’t think if you’ve studied Black history this claim holds weight. Look at the picnics as Black people were lynched. Look at the sadism of Jim Crow. Look at the white backlash to saying Black Lives Matter and cops should not kill us.
I think this speaks to a real moral degradation in the American right. They used to feel like they needed to justify sadism via higher principles or ends/means. Now, they don't care at all: the sadism is the point. It enforces hierarchy when that is all that Trump is willing to offer.
It was hard to convince Americans torture is wrong as a moral principle during Bush's term, and that was with the debate about whether torture makes us safer. I'm afraid for a portion of Trump's base, that calculation matters less. Idea of torturing undocumented immigrants may even bring pleasure.

So apparently there are many Epstein files on the DOJ website where you can highlight the redacted text, copy it, and paste it onto another document to read the redactions
