There are lots of great YT channels and books that demystify math, stats, & tech. A weekend of research can give you enough of a background to at least spot bullshit.
I also want to make a call to any reporter that has thought they "can't understand the business side" because they're not good at numbers, or they're "not technical." Neither am I! Tech CEOs want you to feel like their numbers and tech are black magic.

Once again, the Supreme Court fails to do any meaningful analysis about what makes a classification "suspect" or "quasi-suspect" and just decides to shit on the political scapegoat of the moment.

2) Democrats win but can’t fix major problems due to GOP obstruction & an electoral system biased toward GOP

Looking forward to this! When I used to teach common law methods to students from civil law countries, this was my point: England never adopted Roman law because harmonizing local customs worked so well. Also writing a law code is work and Henry II was too busy drinking with Thomas Becket.
this week on Cool People Who Did Cool Stuff I talk about the origins of habeas corpus and I draw the history of English Common Law not to rich people mad at the king and creating the Magna Carta, but the "dark ages" peasants who practiced traditional decisionmaking and local democracy.
