The vast majority rapists "getting away with it" are the result of police failing to investigate or prosecutors declining to prosecute. And it has little to do with the quality of evidence: Prosecutors will decline to prosecute with ample evidence and prosecute with flimsy bullshit.

I went and read the threads... This is a truly unhinged take that fundamentally misunderstands what a criminal defense attorney - especially a public defender - does in the justice system.

Prosecutors and police do far, far more to let rapists get away with rape than defense attorneys do.
