Judging by the shamefully opportunistic & politicizing rhetoric of some rightwingers on Twitter, & their cynical use of Charlie Kirk’s horrific murder for political point scoring, it’s almost as if Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman wasn’t murdered by a Trump-voting MAGA maniac just 12 weeks ago.

Hearing some very dumb people mad about 'government-run grocery stores.'

These are not taxpayer-funded stores where people get free food. They're the government buying food at wholesale, tacking on overhead costs, and selling it at a lower price without the profit tax that corporate stores charge.

The current budget bill is an atrocity and out-of-touch leaders like Chuck Schumer laid the groundwork by voting for the CR.

Appeasement and complicity do not work. When you bend the knee, they’ll break your leg.

You can tell it's a Republican bill because if it was a Democratic bill the headline would highlight the $3.8 capital-T Trillion it is adding to the federal deficit in the most breathless terms imaginable, and the entire article would be devoted to wondering how it would ever be paid for.
Breaking news: House Republicans approved President Trump’s sprawling tax and immigration agenda Thursday morning, sending to the Senate legislation that the GOP hopes will transform the federal government.
House approves Trump’s massive tax and immigration package
A vote on Trump’s big budget bill could come early Thursday morning. The legislation would extend tax cuts and add billions in new spending – and trillions in debt.

Student debt is held by working class Americans from working class families, not the elites.

Americans who struggle to pay it back are working class, not elites.

The elites don’t struggle with debt.

Venture capital firms are now reaching out to scientists who have faced funding cuts due to Trump/Musk/Doge and offering them funding.

A very shrewd move on their part but of course this means their discoveries from this funding will be owned privately instead of by the American people.

I hope everyone working on LLMs has reckoned with their role in building a technology that, so far, has offered little to no benefit to humanity — while causing real harm by degrading art, undermining labor in creative industries, and straight up automating political propaganda
