It’s really strange the vice president of the United States is a white supremacist, who says white supremacist slogans, who publicly praises and follows the work of white supremacists, and it’s simply not mentioned or discussed in political media

“fascist government controls media and bans dissent” is a straightforward description of what’s happening in the united states
The federal government is dictating what speech is permitted.

When a right-wing man murdered Democratic lawmakers in Minnesota, progressives asked MAGA to tone down the rhetoric to prevent more violence. Within hours of Kirk’s murder, motive still unknown, the right is demanding that the government wage a campaign of violence against their enemies.

So Hegseth’s missiles were fired at a boat:

✅ they had no idea where it was going
✅ they had no idea who was on it
✅ they had no established authority to act
✅ but definitely wanted to murder whoever was on it

Everyone involved should rot in prison forever

Dems should literally create a collaborator's list and put names of institutions and people on it. "Here are people who helped undermine the US Constitution in order to help themselves." Anyone who goes on the list should know they're never coming off it.
100% correct. We started to see Jamie Raskin do this with big law. It needs to keep happening. Make it clear there will be a massive, everlasting cost to folding to this administration.
Democrats need to directly attack and pressure institutions for caving to Trump. As in, they need to give speeches and call out - by name - companies, universities, and law firms that have acceded to his illegal demands. If they don't, the path of least resistance will always be acquiescence.

We're going to need Nuremberg trials when this is over, yes, and to send a significant number of people currently in the federal government to prison. But we're going to need an unwavering commitment to ostracizing the supporters of it, as well. Never accept them again in polite society.

Trump Launches America’s First Concentration Camp, Complete With Tacky Merch
Not content with just shipping people to a foreign concentration camp, Donald Trump now has his own, homegrown concentration camp in Florida. Trump, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis gleefully toured the hastily constructed concentration camp in the Florida Everglades, obnoxiously referred to as Alligator Alcatraz, in reference to (1) the infamous island prison in San Francisco that Trump is obsessed with and (2) the number of alligators (and crocodiles — the one place in the world that has both) that live in and around the Everglades.

every person involved in this needs to be in prison
“One young man sobbed when a guard pushed him to the floor. He said, ‘I’m not a gang member. I’m gay. I’m a barber.’ I believed him. *** He “began to whimper,” as his head was roughly shaved, “folding his hands in prayer as his hair fell.” He “asked for his mother & cried as he was slapped again.”

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.
