If the Trump tariffs aren't taxes that consumers pay, why did he fight so hard to get Bezos to hide them? Instead, he would be bragging about the countries paying those tariffs.

I understand the argument that not supporting the Post hurts good journalists who work there. But continuing to support it threatens society and democracy and will promote distortions within its pages that undercut the truth it may report. It also sends a message that what Bezos is doing is ok.
