It's ruining the environment at an alarming rate and it has no real usefulness. It's not feeding people. It's not providing transportation, heat or anything else we use fossil fuels for. Destroying hard earned environmental gains to show a chicken pole dancing to "The Next Episode"
I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

And imo, this doesn't remotely come off as the Royal Family finally doing the right thing by letting him be held accountable for his actions but rather them trying to save themselves from the consequences of growing backlash by stating they are cutting him loose.
