So this interview lasted 2 hours so this “you’re scaring me” part might seem like an overreaction or fearmongering to someone without that context.

There’s a lot of evidence to support my hypothesis that a potential H5N1 pandemic would be worse than COVID.

‘after COVID” and “post COVID” are common parlance. This language is confounding not only because COVID-19 remains a threat, but also because one would be hard-pressed to find anyone similarly willing to say “post AIDS”, for example, despite AIDS being first recognized nearly half a century ago’.

One of the reasons we were able to trace the SARS 1 virus was that China kept samples from the market. This time no samples were kept. As well as the culling up the supply lines of any animal plausibly response, it leans towards destroying evidence.

The meat of the column is a March 2020 article that said a lab leak was possible but unlikely. One of the authors initially believed in the lab leak theory but eventually changed his mind after looking at the evidence. That's it! That's the smoking gun she spends hundreds of words relitigating.
The first was a March 2020 paper in the journal Nature Medicine, which was written by five prominent scientists and declared that no “laboratory-based scenario” for the pandemic virus was plausible. But we later learned through congressional subpoenas of their Slack conversations that while the scientists publicly said the scenario was implausible, privately many of its authors considered the scenario to be not just plausible but likely. One of the authors of that paper, the evolutionary biologist Kristian Andersen, wrote in the Slack messages, “The lab escape version of this is so friggin’ likely to have happened because they were already doing this type of work and the molecular data is fully consistent with that scenario.” Andersen later testified to Congress that he had simply become convinced that a lab leak, while theoretically possible, was not plausible.

Columbia University agreed to a mask ban to appease Trump.

The school is no longer safe for disabled individuals, not to mention anyone who protests or speaks out on civil rights or Palestine.

Whatever your politics, mask bans should enrage you. They violate our freedom to avoid infection.
