I think the most charming thing about Warhammer 40k is, at its heart, the lore feels like two five-year-olds constantly trying to one-up one another.

Something else that might be in my future thanks to Parkinson’s is brain surgery. It would, if it ever happened, be one of those “fully conscious & maybe playing a musical instrument to make sure they don’t burn out the wrong bit” deals. (1/2)

A bunch of friends and I play Risk, and there’s a tactic we developed called “Going for Madagascar”. When you have a decent size force but no realistic hope of victory? Go for the territory furthest away from your army. It will totally change the course of the game.
