In Morrow County, healthy adults were coming down with unexplained medical conditions, including diseases that usually afflicted the elderly.

In a survey of 30 homes, at least 25 miscarriages and a half dozen people living with one kidney were reported.

The worst thing to happen to any minority movement:

White Gays and Lesbians

Currently watching: “Racist Trees” on PBS and the villain of this story is white gay dudes.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Speaking of urban art walls, these four are in St. Paul, Minn. in the same neighborhood where Trump ICE agents violently attacked humans today. Support these artists, these neighborhoods and these businesses who do regard immigrants as humans.

FUCK SALVATION ARMY

Stop donating to them and give it to a local shelter near you, that doesn’t spread hate.

My personal “Don’t give to the Salvation Army” story:
When I was homeless in 2019, the Salvation Army shelter refused to give me a bed (even though they were available), because I was on immunosuppressant meds and they didn’t want to be responsible or liable if I got more sick or died on premises. They’d rather I die on the street.
It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

Broadview’s “free speech” curfew starts soon, at 6pm.

For nearly two decades, the government has been hiring workers for border enforcement at rodeos. Photojournalist Carrie Schreck went to one for a photo essay with Mother Jones.

The fact that we don't seem to have a journalist that is messy enough to have yet asked Trump or Clinton about the oral sex claim on camera is an indictment of our country and the entire journalistic industry.

1. Obviously not.
2. A sitting president has never been removed from office. Nixon, technically resigned. Clinton and Andrew Johnson were impeached but didn’t actually leave.

Republicans own every part of the government, they ain’t doin’ shit.
TWO QUESTIONS FOR AMERICA

1. Do you agree that a child rapist can’t be POTUS?

2. If so, why do you not support an immediate DOJ and FBI investigation to determine if Donald Trump committed the same crime that two of his closest friends for 17 years committed thousands of times?

I’m about 20 ish minutes in and Reid, the director/creator, made the most out of pocket comment “creepy Mike Wallace” and I can’t lie, I lost it.

But it’s been a horrifying experience watching this, a modern day Pennhurst.

I have been in the ER full of sick people for hours with my N95, and not caught anything.

My family member with shit lungs on two immunosuppressants? Has been in an airport, an ER, a house with someone with an active COVID infection.

And not caught those infections due to their N95.
Masking works. My respirator has kept me free from Covid and flu for six years. 😷

Vaccines are great, but not inhaling viruses into your body is super cool when vaccines do not provide 100% protection. Vaccines & masking in combination FTW.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)

The 8 Dems who voted against ACA are embracing eugenics.

This decision will disproportionately harm disabled people.

Many Disabled people have pre existing conditions & won’t be able to afford insurance.

Many live in legislated poverty.

Guess we aren’t dying fast enough for them

Read every word & share with everyone you know. This is real life here in Chicago. Americans need to know this grotesque reality & stand with us.
Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
