Every part of this is bonkers. The intro is bonkers. The transition to his health is bonkers. The mention that other presidents didn't need cognitive exams is bonkers. The claim that this screening test is somehow hard is bonkers. The idea that criticism of him is treason is bonkers. All of it.

They are beating people who maybe once had a broken taillight and sending them to foreign slave prisons while freeing the worst fraudsters and every corrupt pol. The juxtaposition is so stark and appalling.
NEW: The commutation Trump issued to David Gentile wipes away all further fines & restitution.

Gentile had been sentenced to 7 years for his role in a $1.6B scheme that defrauded thousands of investors.

Prosecutors had been seeking $15.5M in forfeiture.

Really well said.
My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

Hero.
Oregon National Guard Adjutant General, General Gronewold says if they are federalized, that he will advise the Title 10 commander to utilize National Guard Troops to PROTECT protesters at ICE facilities. This is the right answer.

The amount of empty seats at this incredible #USOpen women's semi is criminal. Scalpers, bots and corporate sponsors combine to make what is shaping up as an all-time match look so sad. NYC can and should be better. #tennis

It's an extremely right-wing suburban-coded view of New York City, which makes sense because Andrew Cuomo is a right-winger who lives in the suburbs and not New York City.
I mean, this really says it all, doesn't it?

Regardless of policy, Cuomo's campaign has been talking about at a dark, 1980s vision of New York that, while it may play well elsewhere, doesn't resonate with most of the people who live here day in, day out.

Boone not bunting there is just another reason why he's overstayed his welcome for years. Glad he'll stand up for his players and get tossed here and there, but he's a horrible strategist. Routinely out-coached.

When Trump said to reporters protesters supposedly "spitting" on police and "we will protect law enforcement" not one reporter said, What about January 6th? Why did you pardon cop assaulters?

Not one news anchor has asked Kristi Noem, Tom Homan, Stephen Miller, making rounds.

It's all forgotten.

The administration says he "turned himself in" to the Border Patrol and told them he was a Mexican who crossed the border illegally.

Paul Weiss and Columbia are taking exactly the wrong actions in acceding to Trump, and they are among the entities most well-positioned to fight back.

These are legacy-shaming decisions by the leadership of both, and those far less powerful will now, and surely in short order, pay the price.

Are we going to sacrifice our universities, our science, our industry, our economy, our Congress, our government, our Constitution because everyone agrees that Trump's 49.9% places him beyond critique, makes him all-powerful? Why are our institutions enduring this, to their own destruction?
If you are visiting the United States, having a negative view of Trump is enough to get you denied entry.
If this was coming out of Russia or China, we would deplore such an authoritarian attack on freedom of expression.
