Looking forward to learning all about how the right should move left to win elections tomorrow. They should maybe dye their hair pink, learn to love pronouns.

I like Kevin Smith movie commentaries more than Kevin Smith movies.
I listen to every movie podcast but it is unreal that it used to be standard artistic and business practice that the *director of the movie* would sit down and watch and talk about it from beginning to end. We have LOST something.

This is a time that calls on us to be really clear about what our values are.

Democrats must stand unequivocally for the freedom, dignity, and opportunity for working people.

We need to fight for these values in a way that voters can actually see and feel.

HRC has been wrong on strategy for their entire existence. Why the fuck does anyone listen to what they have to say?
the only organization that democrats did name as a point of contact on trans lives messaging was human rights campaign. hrc said they told the campaign to tread incredibly likely, but also didn’t say yes or no on running response ads

Can someone point to an instance in world history that oppressed people have gained freedom and justice without violence?
Shapiro: Violence can never be used to try to prove some ideological point. That is not what we do in a civilized society. That is not how you make progress in this country. The suspect who shot that CEO is a coward, not a hero.

This is what I say when anyone complains about the Democratic Party. Take some personal accountability. Be the change you wish to see.
We just watched an incredible display of bravery by the people of South Korea that might stave off a coup.

Americans should take note. Politicians and institutions won’t save us. If we’re going to defeat authoritarianism, we need to fight it ourselves.

I may soon join the luddite ranks.
It's the "brain in the pocket" phenomenon. In my mixed upper elementary classroom (~2000) I noticed students dropping learning things as soon as they became available in digital format (without thinking). I honestly think people will soon be illiterate.
