But seriously. The fact that most people may think that agriculture harvesting is "plug & play" is distressing.
For a fool's reference, in the past, villages & towns would SHUT DOWN to harvest because of how laborious it is.

But berries, fruit, tomatoes, etc that are eaten fresh can't be automated w current technology.
I know because I worked for a lot of the startups that tried!
There's no way to pick fast enough by machine to be commercially viable, without bruising so they rot before they get to the store.

This is what is grinding me into such a paste. Learning, thinking, processing ideas, solving problems, and making connections are the absolute best thing about being homo sapiens. They are destroying the literal joy and purpose of being human.
I just want 'ai' to go away. The simultaneous widespread poisoning of knowledge; attempt to end-run professions that cultivate critical thinking; and sucking the joy out of everything while ramming unwanted technology down our throats is so exhausting. I just can't anymore.
