So often when a cop (etc) commits murder or other heinous crimes, defenders yell something like, "he's an 8 year veteran of the force!" and I THINK they're trying to say, "he's highly trained and competent" but all I hear is "bro, he's been committing SO MANY CRIMES you only caught this one."

Gentle reminder that EVERYONE shot by ICE or the police is innocent. Every single one. Cops aren't Judge Dredd. A person is innocent until proven guilty IN A COURT, so until a person is found guilty by a judge or jury, they're innocent. They're ALL innocent.
