An 89-year-old Holocaust survivor. A 93-year-old woman who never protested before. They're mad as hell at what Trump is doing to America, as they joined about 80 others in their senior complex in Haverford, Pa. for a "No Kings!" protest like no other

My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/comm...
In Haverford, 80-somethings and 90-somethings take to the road to protest Trump
They saw the Holocaust, WWII and Vietnam, and these senior protesters on Philly's Main Line have seen enough of Trump.

I spoke with activist and educator @daniel-hunter.bsky.social about the current terrain of resistance under Trump and Musk, and how we can stay focused amid the chaos. "This is a really important time for some experiments," Daniel said.

So bizarre that this isn't considered a national crisis, especially by politicians on the left. We're sleepwalking into an environment where like 80% of available information is right-wing propaganda and the rest is behind a paywall.
You’d expect the rate at which newspapers eliminated jobs would taper off to exponential decay at some point, but no. They just keep firing people like they expect to go to 0 humans employed by 2030

This is excellent.
With another wave of glowing media profiles of Trump supporters and "you out-of-touch elites just don't get his enduring appeal" op-eds, good time to re-up my @thebulwark.bsky.social piece "The Media Still Doesn't Get Biden Voters (and barely even tries)."
They're the national majority.
