why everything sucks online:
1) online ads used to pay for everything until companies realized that ads didn't work that well
2) the companies that owned the ad systems need something that makes money since ads are working less
3) the people making stuff still needed the money that ads gave them

Random but this claim about absolute size of GDP is not true. I was trying to work out if there was some economic rationale for preferring Russia as a trade partner/ally to the UK.
