Was looking back through some old Instagram posts and came across this cloud formation I captured on 19 June 2019 in Boulder, CO while taking a work break. (Realized it was before I joined Bluesky.) It appears to be a type of Kelvin-Helmholtz wave. I hustled back to take a timelapse of it

The Statsraad Lehmkuhl at Broadway Pier. Originally German, this ship now sails under a Norwegian flag. Launched in 1914, it was given to Britain as war reparations in 1920. It was subsequently purchased by Norway and then captured by Nazi Germany in 1940. It is owned by a Norwegian foundation now.
