I voted last week. I have received confirmation that my ballot was received and counted. Easy process here in Colorado. Got a nice Columbine sticker for my efforts.

My friend is a remodeling contractor. Every few years I clean up and sharpen his set of wood chisels. Wire brush first to get rid of the rust. Then a rough sharpening on the bench grinder. And finish with stones. A nice set of Stanley chisels made in England. How many nails were cut with these?

Big turnout in little Berthoud for No Kings today! It was windy and difficult to manage signs and blowup costumes. @berthoudindivisibl.bsky.social @kylec.bsky.social @nexton9news.bsky.social

It really works well. I thought of you making this one. Could do a vegan version. Omit the chicken/broth and use vegetable broth. Add and sauté mushrooms. Add miso paste after cooking. Some things don't work well pressure cooked. Canned beans and miso paste get over done under pressure.

Amazingly the native wildflower patches I planted are still going strong. IDK why the Cosmos took so long to show up. Not many this year. A herd of elk came through and munched on sunflowers.

Finished up the cabinet for my friend's restaurant. This will be where the soda syrup boxes and pumps are located. Will be to the left of the soda machine/dispenser. Carcass is 3/4 maple plywood. Maple doors and face-frame. Butcher block top.
