Can’t stress this enough. I’m *really fucking close* but my uselessly-arthritic leg doesn’t technically qualify as a disability. Yet.
The best way to navigate this is to BUILD AN ACCESSIBLE WORLD. This kills me, and in many/most situations isn't that hard, it shifts the burden of effort where it belongs (on institutions, away from people), and THERE IS NOT CHEATING.
The world just works for more people.

Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

I’m probably moving to San Fransisco in the next few months (which feels wild to say) and I am gonna use the fuck out of these until they jack the prices up.
