I am firmly in the LETTERKENNY >>>>>>> SHORESY camp but god SHORESY is so good. "The summer I close on Laura Mohr" rolls around my head at least once a week.

I am a firm believer that cheating is the business of the two people involved, their partners and their kids AND NO ONE ELSE but keep it out of the family man, come on.
MLBPA executive director Tony Clark resigned after an internal investigation revealed he had an inappropriate relationship with his sister-in-law, who had been hired by the union in 2023, sources tell me and @DVNJr.

The most important lesson I learned from unionizing my last newsroom (other than to never let your co-founder treat you like a secretary) was that almost no one actually understands unions.

And that's why I would be the only good rich person, because you absolutely would never hear from me again.
Every now & then I see people post things like “if I suddenly got rich, you’d never hear from me again, all my socials will be deleted,” etc.

Are we forgetting everything we know about wealth, power & unaccountability? You would post constantly. Trivially. Self-destructively. Like rich people do!

The funniest part of the new Ryan Murphy JFK Jr./Carolyn Bessette show is how much it absolutely hates Daryl Hannah.

Only one, we trade like three texts a year, and last year he texted me "hey I randomly saw you on my timeline!" which is a horrifying text to receive.
watching John Green talk about his buddy from high school who is still his friend and I’m curious, is that common for people on here?

My new conspiracy theory is that only baseball players have hamate bones. Has literally anyone heard about it outside of MLB injuries?
Jackson Holliday will miss Opening Day. Broken hamate bone in right hand.

My kingdom for a good Scotch egg.
While Buffalo wings are now a ubiquitous app all over the country, not every regional food goes national. What cuisine from YOUR region do you most want to share with the country/world?

Spring training is actually just a neverending injury update.

I think about this a lot and it just seems so exhausting. Being that miserable all the time would be, well, miserable. Especially when you're making things up to be mad about so often.
kinda both funny and deeply sad that some people’s whole deal is just being super mad about something all the time

Lot of insane events at the Olympics, obviously, but the one that always gets me is when they ski a bunch and then randomly pull out guns and start shooting???

Finally figured out why the outfit looked so familiar on the women carrying the country name signs at the opening ceremony.

Let Lindsey Vonn be your strongest and final sign to please for the love of god stop pretending you are in any way comparable to a professional athlete. In literally anything.

Impressively shitty start to 2026 but I did just discover that The Cab put out a new EP (last year but I missed it so it counts).

The worst part is I can't decide if the Framber signing makes it more likely the Tigers won the Skubal arbitration (they suddenly have more money than expected to spend) or lost it (they're immediately trading him).

Nothing is going to stop the whims of rich guys who bought media outlets on a lark because they were bored one day. BUT I am begging everyone to support good journalism while it's still here. Read the actual articles, not just the headlines and screenshots. Pay for a subscription, god forbid.

I still use an iPod. It's hot pink. Plug it into the car audio system. I had to replace it about five years ago because I dropped it and it cracked but I refused to update the library. The vibes are immaculate. The other day it shuffled from Etta James to Mika to We The Kings.
I found my old iPod and I’ve ordered a PS Vita. It’s all part of experimenting with how I use digital technology in 2026.

On top of my update, find plenty of great reads from the past month in the January recap.

We are faced with so many unbearable, unimaginable horrors every day. You don't have to make things up to force your narrative.

Tonight's Grammys mostly just reminded me that I know where I belong: the angsty pop punk bands I've been listening to since I was 14.

Goes for Cher too, honestly
Every time I see Andy Garcia, I am morally obligated to share the clip of him and Cher singing Fernando to each other in MAMMA MIA 2. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nB9r...
