I asked a local councillor why they still hadn't built a protected bike lane near us. Answer: There are so many schools near there, that it would impact the traffic in the mornings to have the lanes .... I dunno.
Another reminder that a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.

One thing is certain. Nobody in politics or the media told this paticular person to set this particular building on fire. Therefore nothing they said contributed to this attack and, frankly, it's disgusting that you'd even allude to such a thing.
So it wasn't fireworks. It was a calculated and deliberate attempt at the mass murder of men, women and children.

Don’t flake on voting just because the result is in the bag! Margin matters. Remember how awful it felt seeing Peter Casey jump from 2% polls to 23% after his attacks on travellers. A low turnout/high number of spoiled votes will be seized on by the fash. Every vote for Connolly undermines them
